University management software for Cameroon’s LMD system

Cameroonian universities and private higher-education institutes (IPES) organise degrees in the LMD system: a Licence over six semesters (180 credits), a Master over four more (120 credits), then the Doctorate, with each semester made up of teaching units (UEs) that carry credits. How a UE is validated, whether a weak course can be compensated by others in the same UE or semester, how many credits allow progression to the next year and how resits work are set by the institution’s academic regulations and, for programmes run under academic supervision, by the supervising state university.

Generic school software rarely models this, so registrars rebuild results in Excel before every jury. We configure the rules from your own academic regulations, so averages, validated credits and progression decisions are computed exactly as your jury applies them, and deliberation sheets are ready before the meeting.

Many IPES run BTS programmes in French and HND programmes in English next to Licence and Master degrees, often on more than one campus. The software keeps each track with its own structure, calendar and documents in one database: candidate lists for the national BTS and HND examinations, degree programmes under the institution’s academic supervision agreement, and short professional certificates. The promoter sees enrolment, fee collection and results across campuses in one dashboard.

For primary and secondary schools, the matching product is the School Management System; education groups that run both levels can have the two connected. Online courses, assignments and computer-based tests come from our e-learning platform.

1. Apply: online application, documents uploaded, selection and admission letter.
2. Pay: tuition by MTN MoMo or Orange Money, in instalments, with automatic receipts.
3. Register: administrative registration, then UE choices for the semester.
4. Assess: continuous assessment, exams and resits, with exam clearance linked to the fee balance.
5. Deliberate: results computed to your rules and validated by the jury.
6. Document: transcripts, certificates of success and student cards printed from the record.
