Opes DGI

DGI declarations and compliant bulletins de paie, generated from your own payroll

Request a demonstration

Cameroonian payroll is not complicated so much as unforgiving. IRPP by bracket, CNPS on a capped base, the CAC on top, the redevance audiovisuelle, the crédit foncier, family allowances — each with its own base and its own rounding. One wrong base quietly repeats itself twelve times a year.

Opes DGI calculates each deduction from its own correct base, produces a bulletin de paie that carries every line an inspector expects to see, and assembles the monthly and annual declarations from the same figures rather than from a re-keyed spreadsheet.

What Opes DGI does

Compliant bulletin de paie

Every statutory line, in the expected order: gross, taxable base, IRPP, CAC, CNPS, and net payable, with employer contributions shown separately.

IRPP, CNPS and CAC

Progressive IRPP by bracket, CNPS on its capped base, and the additional communal levies calculated on the correct base each time.

DIPE and CNPS returns

Monthly and annual social declarations assembled from live payroll, in the format the fund expects, rather than rebuilt by hand.

DGI declarations

Monthly withholding and annual returns produced from the same ledger, so what you declare matches what you paid.

E-facturation ready

Sales invoices structured and archived to meet electronic invoicing obligations as they are enforced.

Audit trail

Every recalculation, correction and rate change is dated and attributed, which is the first thing an inspection asks for.

Who it is for

SMEs and large employers, accounting and payroll bureaux, NGOs and international organisations with local staff, schools and clinics, and any business preparing for a DGI inspection in Cameroon.

How it works

1

Employer configured

Company details, NIU, CNPS employer number, pay periods, and the contract types and grades you employ under.

2

Employees enrolled

Contract, salary, family situation for IRPP relief, CNPS number and bank or Mobile Money details, captured once per employee.

3

Payroll run

Gross built from base pay, overtime, bonuses and benefits in kind. Every statutory deduction is calculated from its own base automatically.

4

Payslips and payment

Bulletins issued to staff by email or print, and a bank-ready disbursement file produced for the net amounts.

5

Declarations filed

Monthly withholding, CNPS returns and the annual DIPE are generated from the runs already made, with the supporting detail attached.

Common questions

What happens when tax rates change?

Rates and brackets are configuration, not code. When the Finance Law changes a bracket or a ceiling, the new rate is applied from its effective date and prior periods keep the rate that applied when they were run.

Can it produce payslips in French?

Yes. Bulletins de paie are produced in French as standard, and bilingual output is available where staff or auditors need English alongside.

Does it handle benefits in kind?

Yes. Housing, vehicle and other avantages en nature are valued and added to the taxable base according to the rules that apply to each, rather than being left out and found later.

Can our accountant use it for several clients?

Yes. A bureau can run many employers in one installation, each with its own NIU, staff and declarations, with strict separation between clients.
